They look solid very-pale pink, the swirls can't be seen unless you put a lightbulb under your finger.

I agree with the previous review that the design somehow disappears and the wrap looks like a solid when on and lit from the top. However, if you like a creamy pale pinky white, you will like this. I have it paired with Golden Sands. The picture with one hand is in daylight, freshly applied, not top coat. The picture with two hands is in dim indoor light two days later, with a top coat on.
